Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an LVN to perform and document a pre-operative interview, secure diagnostic test results, and promptly inform physicians and staff of any variances or concerns. The ideal candidate communicates effectively in English and supports age-appropriate patient care within our center.

The role emphasizes clinical nursing skills, teamwork, and adherence to center policies, with a focus on patient safety and efficient pre-op processes.

Qualifications

• Must read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients in the center.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and assess data reflective of patients' age-specific needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process and communication channels.
• Maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, coworkers and health staff.

Responsibilities

• Completes and documents a pre-operative interview, obtains necessary diagnostic test results and notifies appropriate physicians and staff regarding variances and/or concerns.
