Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to join our team at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. The role requires assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions, and coordinating discharge planning in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will contribute to safe, therapeutic care and patient satisfaction while working a Monday–Friday 6:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. schedule with call rotation.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN license or compact state RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and nursing needs, set goals, and prescribe nursing actions including discharge planning.
• Assess and respond to patient pain, document observations clearly.
• Educate patients and families about medications and care plans.
• Provide quality care with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize patient satisfaction.
