Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
• One (1) year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing needs, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the patient's needs, including discharge planning.
• Assesses, intervenes, and reassesses the patient's pain using 0-10 scale, FACES, or FLACC.
• Demonstrates understanding of medications, appropriate actions, and educates patients and families.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions toward goals and outcomes.
• Maintains nursing standards and follows hospital/unit policies and procedures.
• Participates in meetings, in-services, and quality/improvement groups.
