Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Prenatal/Gynecology clinic. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, and supervise non-RN staff as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Connecticut RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS certification. The role involves coordinating care, educating patients, and ensuring a safe environment in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred from an accredited nursing program.
• 1-2 years' nursing experience preferred.
• Active Connecticut RN license required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' physical and psychosocial conditions continuously.
• Develop, communicate and document individualized care plans with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and supervise non-RN staff as needed.
• Serve as charge nurse and provide safe, high-quality patient care in the prenatal clinic.
