Job summary

Wally’s Wine & Spirits in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an experienced server to deliver a polished, memorable dining experience. This role calls for hospitality, product knowledge, and genuine service.

You’ll guide guests through food, wine, cocktails, cheese, and charcuterie with confidence, maintain timing and communication, and work with sommeliers, bussers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of serving in a premium/high-volume restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of wine service, cocktails, and elevated dining standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and guest engagement skills.
• Confident using POS systems and supporting smooth restaurant operations.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to support multiple service roles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and elevated service reflecting Wally’s high standards.
• Guide guests through food, wine, cocktails, cheese, and charcuterie with confidence.
• Create a seamless dining experience through precise timing, strong communication, and thoughtful table care.
• Partner with sommeliers, bussers, food runners, kitchen staff, and management to support exceptional service.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to special requests, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Assist hosting, running food, bussing tables, and other guest-facing needs when appropriate.
• Deliver a gracious closing experience by thanking guests and inviting them to return.
