Designer Draperies of Boston is seeking a Custom Window Treatment Installer to deliver flawless, premium installations and outstanding client experiences in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with designers and homeowners, ensuring every treatment hangs perfectly and operates smoothly.

This hands-on role requires excellence in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professional communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read installation drawings and tape measures.
• Comfort with ladders and installation equipment.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication; dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial job sites in a company-provided vehicle.
• Install draperies, roman shades, interior shutters, decorative hardware, motorized window treatments, valances and other custom soft furnishings.
• Review project details and installation plans prior to arriving on-site.
• Provide a premium white-glove installation experience for designers and homeowners.
• Protect flooring, walls and furnishings; maintain a clean, organized on-site workspace.
• Assist with workroom tasks when not installing; mounting shade motors and organizing inventory.
• Conduct final quality inspections before leaving each project.
