Who We’re Looking For?

• Custom Decorators has an immediate Flex-Time opportunity for experienced design & sales professional to partner with us as in-home custom window treatment Designer and Installer.
• This includes interior blinds, shades, shutters, drapery & outdoor roller shades.
• Successful Designers and Installers that work for our company come from the following backgrounds: bath remodels, and other home-investment & remodeling services.
• Independent design & installer company owners who are looking to expand their business.
• Experienced salespersons who have a passion for selling in the home.
• Experience and proven measuring skills
• Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters (Ideal)
• Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments

Education and Experience

• Experience using CRM and data entry systems (e.g., SFDC, SAP) required.
• Basic computer skills; emails, printing, scanning, downloading/uploading to website.
• Currently possess, or willing to obtain, liability insurance.
• Possess all applicable state and local licenses.
• Must have a reliable truck or van to transport window treatments.
• Must have a secure location to receive freight.

Physical Requirements

• Periods of standing and walking throughout the in-home and retail spaces.
• Must be able to lift to >15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to perform ALL window measurements.
• Must be able to climb ladders, use scaffolding, load/unload pallets.
