Job summary

Custom Decorators, Inc is seeking an experienced Window Treatments Install Technician for in-home installations in Minot, ND. This 1099 contractor role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work with Hunter Douglas products, delivering precise measurements and professional installations.

You will coordinate installation appointments, verify product condition upon arrival, and represent CDI and our retail partners while delivering excellent customer service to homeowners.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must have experience and proven measuring skills.
• Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters.
• Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments.
• Leaves positive and lasting impressions with clients.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Basic computer skills: emails, printing, scanning, uploading to website.
• Must currently possess or be willing to obtain liability insurance.
• Must possess all applicable state and local licenses.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate installation appointments with the customer.
• Conduct complex measurements for products when requested, including shutters.
• Receive product at your location and verify it arrived in good condition.
• Professionally represent CDI and our retail partners.
• Resolve issues while maintaining excellent customer service.
