Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers in the VIP area.
- Oversees and participates in stand setup and closing procedures (e.g., counting inventory, prep, cleaning).
- Ensures that all work stations remain clean and sufficiently stocked.
- Orders replacement stock from runners as necessary.
- Efficiently and accurately completes required paperwork.
- Ensures that all employees adhere to alcohol policies.
- Manages staff to ensure food preparation meets guidelines set by Legends and the board of health.
- Willing and able to fill any position in the location if needed.
- At closing, works with other stand personnel to properly count ending inventory, clean equipment, and organize stock for the next event.
- Knowledgeable of POS system including voids, credit card issues, and closing out procedures.
- Input daily event sheets and daily reports.
- Works closely with the customer service department to improve service in all assigned areas.
- Does inventory at assigned locations.
- Handles assigned area schedules, makes changes, prints, and posts them.
- Maintains a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Interacts with guests and staff to ensure satisfaction.
- Has extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials, and services offered.
- Knows the layout of the venue and assigned area.
- Provides guests with personal service and attention to detail that exceeds expectations.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work area.
- Assures compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
- Works as a team with associates and other service departments in the venue.
- Works a flexible schedule to meet demand levels, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Meets state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years working in a fast‑paced, high‑end club, restaurant, or catering location.
- High School Diploma; some college preferred.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, organized, and able to prioritize as needed.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change quickly.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to read and maintain information.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to move quickly and act on assigned duties within established production and service time frames.
- Maintains personal hygiene and a well‑groomed appearance.
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time.
- Can stand, kneel, lift (up to 30 pounds), carry items, push carts, walk at a fast pace, and bend down.
Safety & Risk Management
- Encourages the team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including reporting unsafe conditions and completing company‑wide and job‑specific safety training.
- Reports all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day the incident is reported.
