Job summary

Aesop is seeking a Retail Consultant in New York to deliver personalized conversations and premium experiences. You will connect with customers through storytelling, conduct product demonstrations, and guide customers to build regimens that showcase Aesop's skincare and fragrance lines.

You will work three full days per week, including at least one weekend day, and be part of a dynamic retail team with an emphasis on continuous learning and growth within the L'Oréal family.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a customer-focused team environment.
• Commercially driven with a merchant mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with product demonstrations.
• Passion for selling premium skincare and fragrance products.
• Flexible scheduling including 3 full days per week with a guaranteed weekend day.
• Must be able to work on the sales floor, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to store goals by understanding and driving KPIs.
• Follow a personalized monthly commercial plan with the Store Manager, with weekly/daily targets.
• Use data and insights to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through storytelling and personalized service.
• Lead customers to demonstrations and build regimens to enhance loyalty.
• Complete retail induction and ongoing learning pathways (Methodos) and apply learnings.
• Adhere to grooming standards and maintain the five senses experience in-store.
• Complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.
