Job summary

Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Braselton, GA is hiring a Louis House of Bourbon Bartender for an on-site, full-time role. You will greet guests, take drink orders, and prepare cocktails using standard recipes while maintaining bar stock and cleanliness.

Prior hotel/restaurant experience and guest communication skills are preferred. Responsibilities include cash handling, POS operation, and adhering to safety and alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications

• Hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and alcohol.
• Basic math to handle cash and checks.
• Manual dexterity for garnishes, glassware, and moving stock.
• Ability to remember menu items and promote them.
• Operate POS and pre-check orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis.
• Stocking beer, wine, spirits, and bar condiments according to projections.
• Prepare and garnish drinks using standard recipes and portion control.
• Greet guests, take and document drink orders.
• Handle cash, process charges, and balance receipts.
• Lock and secure bar equipment and money; adhere to attendance rules.
