Job summary

Equinox is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to empower client performance and lifestyle. Under two managers, you will refine programming, education, business, and financial planning to elevate your PT career and advance toward leadership roles.

You will build a larger client base, manage schedules, and market training programs while maintaining the highest service standards and safety on the fitness floor.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program.
• Eligibility to begin a higher Tier & pay rate based on previous experience and education (Degree in the field)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within internal scheduling systems.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and/or clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products.
• Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members.
• Interact with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience.
• Create and coach personalized programs for both in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions.
