Job summary

Equinox is seeking a motivated Personal Trainer to learn and execute as part of our team. Build and maintain an active client base, manage schedules, and market personalized training programs to members both in person and virtually.

Responsibilities include delivering fitness assessments, guiding workouts, and ensuring a safe, organized fitness floor. A nationally recognized PT certification or relevant degree is required, with opportunities for certification and growth within a premier wellness

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor’s degree in the field.
• Certification reimbursement opportunities for non-PT certified applicants.
• Eligible for higher Tier level based on experience and education.
• Current CPR/AED certification (Certification opportunities available for noncertified applicants).
• Passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness.
• Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute primary responsibilities as a member of our team.
• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule of client appointments, meetings, and open availability.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members/clients via phone, email, and in-person.
• Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products.
• Provide service and hospitality to members.
• Conduct fitness assessments and guided workouts for members.
• Interact with members to enhance workouts and club experience.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions.
• Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotions.
• Attend and participate in management meetings.
