Job summary

Equinox is seeking a Personal Trainer to empower members to maximize their personal and client performance. You will work under two managers, developing programming, education, and financial planning for a dynamic career in fitness.

You will learn to build client relationships, conduct assessments, and deliver personalized in-person and virtual training, while maintaining a safe environment and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one.
• CPR/AED certification (required or opportunity for non-certified applicants).
• Passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge of fitness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule using internal systems.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members/clients.
• Conduct fitness assessments and guided workouts.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain a safe, organized fitness floor during shifts.
