Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen or food prep area is preferred.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Physical ability for strenuous cleaning and lifting.
• Ability to understand English and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to comply with safety and sanitary standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, prepping and washing dishware, silverware, glassware, pots and pans.
• Ensure chemical dispensers and cleaning supplies are stocked and used safely.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed.
• Empty and clean kitchen garbage and manage waste as required.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving items when needed.
• Daily cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Monthly deep cleaning of all kitchen areas and appliances.
• Assist in the dining room during meal service and return dirty dishes to the kitchen.
