The Bristal Assisted Living is seeking a responsible Kitchen Utility Worker/Dishwasher to support a luxury assisted living kitchen. You will clean, sanitize and maintain dishware, equipment and work areas in a fast-paced environment, with attention to safety and sanitation.

Full-time schedule includes weekend shifts. Prior experience in a kitchen or food service, healthcare or catering setting is a plus; ability to lift heavy items and follow instructions is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen or food preparation area
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability for strenuous cleaning and lifting
• Able to understand English and follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Must follow all rules, policies and sanitary standards

Responsabilités

• Cleaning, prepping and washing dishware, silverware, glassware, pots and pans
• Cleaning chemical dispensers and ensuring supplies; use safety equipment per OSHA standards
• Sweeping and mopping floors as directed
• Emptying and cleaning garbage from kitchen to dumpster
• Assisting with heavy lifting
• Daily cleaning of steam kettle, grill, range tops, stainless surfaces and dishwashing area
• Monthly cleaning of all kitchen surfaces incl. walls, ceilings, stairs, tables and appliances
• Assisting in the dining room, removing soiled dishes during service
