Job summary

Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a Steward to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and storage areas. You will assist with proper food storage, rotate stock, and support kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation.

As a member of the Hammock Beach team, you will work in a premier oceanfront venue with championship facilities, contributing to an exceptional guest experience while upholding safety and hygiene

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternatives quickly and accurately.
• Works well under stress.
• Maintains composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Operate the dish-washing equipment to ensure sanitation.
• Replace all clean china; glass and silver in proper storage locations.
• Wash pots, pans and utensils following proper procedure.
• Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and restaurant.
• Empty garbage from Food and Beverage areas into the hotel dumpster.
• Maintain the back dock and dumpster area cleanliness.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations

Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
