Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management at Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park in North Carolina is seeking a beverage server/bar role. You will prepare drinks, serve guests, handle cash, and assist with room service orders in a guest‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations.
• Current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and vouchers.
• Basic English writing skills for requisitions and vouchers.
• Manual dexterity for garnishes, glassware and stock handling.
• Ability to understand product labeling and safety instructions.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous manner, take and document drink orders.
• Maintain daily bar setup and stock beverages, garnishes and supplies.
• Handle cash, verify charges and balance receipts.
• Input orders into POS and generate checks for guests.
• Perform general cleaning and adhere to safety standards.
• Assist other Beverage staff as needed
• Comply with liquor regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional guest service and teamwork.
