Job summary

Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park is seeking a part-time Beverage/Bar Attendant to greet guests, take drink orders, mix and present beverages, and maintain bar setup.

You will handle cash, balance receipts, follow safety procedures, stock supplies, and provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced hotel environment. Prior front-of-house experience and a current Food Handler Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of state liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic arithmetic to handle cash and make change.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and document drink orders.
• Maintain bar setup and stock beverages and supplies.
• Handle cash transactions and balance cash.
• Answer bar phone and take room service orders.
• Perform general cleaning and adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow company policies and assist other beverage personnel.
