Job summary

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, seeks a dedicated Golf Grounds Crew Member to support golf course maintenance and landscape tasks. You will operate mowing equipment, edge and trim around features, and help prepare the course for golfers.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and comfort with mechanical equipment. The property offers meals, discounts, parking, and career growth within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

Experience with lawn care tasks (mowing, landscaping, grounds maintenance).
Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to multitask and complete tasks efficiently.
Ability to stand/walk/bend for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfort with operating mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate mowing equipment to maintain fairways, greens, roughs, and tees at desired height.
Trim and edge around trees, shrubs, pathways, sand traps for a polished look.
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed for plant health.
Rake and level sand traps, ensuring proper shape and cleanliness.
Ensure course is ready for golfers; restock ball washers and verify signage.
