Job summary

Five Iron Golf in Baltimore is seeking an Event Captain to deliver exceptional service and lead on-site event execution. You will manage bar operations, maintain stock, and coordinate with kitchen and sales to fulfill contracts.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, upselling, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and training staff for a premium experience. This full-time, non-exempt role requires flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing events or coordinating hospitality operations.
• Server or bar experience encouraged but not required.
• Passion for golf is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to upsell to guests.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must meet state minimum age to bartend.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure a premium experience.
• Manage bar operations, including stock and cleanliness.
• Take orders via POS and process payments accurately.
• Lead on-site event execution and guest greetings.
• Collaborate with kitchen to ensure quality menu items.
• Assist with closing duties and inventory.
• Coordinate with Sales for event requirements.
