Job summary

The Bridgewater Club LLC is seeking an experienced bartender for event service and bar support on-site at our Carmel, IN venue. You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, greet guests, and ensure smooth bar operations during events.

Applicants should have prior bartending experience, knowledge of liquors and wine, and a valid liquor license. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long shifts, and work weekends. ATC server permit may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or bartending experience required.
• Must have working knowledge of liquors, beer and wine.
• Must possess knowledge of beverage cost/pouring procedures.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid liquor license.
• Must have good organization and communication skills, as well as a good personality the ability to connect with guests.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long periods of time, approximately 12 hour maximum.
• Must be available on weekends
• Server permit from the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission

Responsibilities

• Consistently complies with state, local, and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies
• Stocks additional supplies as needed following club procedures
• Set up and tear down bars in various spaces
• Follows opening and closing checklists for the bar area assigned every shift
• Greets members and guests by name and exceeds their expectations
• Reports comments or complaints to manager on duty as they occur
• Maintains and cleans bar with proper opening and closing duties
• Maintains record of liquors, beers, wines, tobacco to ensure stock maintenance
• Any and all other duties as assigned by Management.
