Job summary

BASH in Carmel, Indiana seeks a Venue Event Captain to lead onsite operations during events, ensuring guest satisfaction and brand standards. You will oversee venue operations, beverage service, and vendor coordination while guiding staff.

This part-time role requires 21+ years, bartending experience, valid alcohol service certification, and reliable transportation; evenings, weekends, and holidays may apply. PTO and retirement benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospitality, event, venue, or food & beverage experience preferred.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Leadership or shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Current alcohol service certification required (market-specific).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite venue representative during assigned event shifts.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to clients, guests, vendors, and event partners.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize disruptions and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Open and/or close the venue in accordance with company procedures.
• Complete opening/closing checklists and report maintenance concerns.
• Support inventory accountability and proper handling of venue equipment.
