Job Summary

The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes; washes by hand or loads into dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Follows safety procedures diligently.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
6. Keeps the dish area organized and compliant with safety standards.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and manages waste disposal properly.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
11. Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
