Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses a conveyor dishwasher, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, ensuring cleanliness.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment, ensuring cleanliness.
4. Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
6. Keeps the dish area orderly and safe.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and cleans trash cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
11. Helps load and unload supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
