Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is seeking a Premium Cook to supervise all food preparation and maintain high hygiene standards at onsite venues. You will train Line Cooks, manage portions and prep lists, and ensure proper food temperatures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• Proven cooking experience is required.
• Bachelor's or associated degree in Culinary Arts is advantageous.
• A food handler's license required.

• Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparing meal ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing fruits and vegetables as well as marinating meats.
• Preparing soups, salads, and sauces as instructed by the Chef.
• Plating and garnishing meal items in accordance with the Chef's instructions.
• Supervising the work of Line Cooks to ensure tasks are completed promptly.
• Ensuring cooking stations are stocked with ingredients and equipment.
• Cleaning and disinfecting cooking stations and surfaces before and after shifts.
• Adhering to DOH standards to reduce waste and contamination risk.
• Assessing the quality of delivered supplies to meet standards.
• Providing exceptional guest experiences while on-site.
