Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice seeks a seasonal Cook at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida to prepare guest orders and collaborate with the serving team. You will ensure quality, food safety, and timely service in a fast-paced stadium environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of back-of-house experience, can read prep sheets, perform math for recipes, and meet physical requirements. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-house food service position.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items are maintained, and all products are to proper specifications
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
