Job summary

Seasons in Washington, DC, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring a full-time Conference Services Attendant to maintain meeting rooms and public areas to the highest professional standard and ensure all meeting requirements are met before start times.

You'll move and place tables and chairs, set up AV and room supplies, refresh spaces between meetings, assist clients and visitors, and coordinate with staff to deliver prompt, accurate service.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or houseman/porter experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Moves and places tables, chairs, and supply linens for each event in the conference center.
• Assists with conference room readiness and supplies (pens, pads, handouts, etc.).
• Refreshes rooms between meetings and provides prompt service as scheduled or on request.
• Maintains phone and email communication with clients, guests, and staff.
• Assists clients and visitors throughout the building and escorts to conference rooms.
