Job summary

The Hay-Adams in Washington, DC seeks a capable Concierge to deliver exceptional guest services in a luxury setting. The successful candidate will field inquiries, arrange transportation and sightseeing, and assist with dining reservations while coordinating with front desk and support staff.

Candidates should have a High School diploma and 2–3 years in a luxury property, with excellent English communication. Preference for a second language.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; luxury property experience preferred.
• Two to three years in a luxury property.
• Excellent English communication; second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log guest inquiries and assist with directions, arrangements, and reservations.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering to fulfill guest requests.
• Record faxes, packages, and deliveries and ensure timely distribution.
• Balance Concierge cash drawer and monitor banking procedures.
• Assist guests with dining reservations and transportation needs.
• Log special requests and communicate issues to the next shift.
