Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• One or more years of professional work experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection and reconciliation of outstanding premium balances and unearned commissions.
• Communicate with insurance agents about balances, questions, and payment processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and determine next steps.
• Review balances on policies canceled for nonpayment and collect due premiums.
• Research and reconcile payments across systems to ensure funds are properly credited.
