Job summary

Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach is looking for a Banking Relationship Specialist who will be the first contact at the branch and uphold a professional image while delivering a white-glove customer experience. You will consult with clients, promote products, and cross-sell services to meet financial goals.

You will open and maintain accounts, resolve inquiries, ensure regulatory compliance, and support marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of teller experience and 4+ years of New Accounts/Sales Experience preferred.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients about financial goals and promote F&M products and services.
• Actively cross-sell bank products and refer clients to other departments for additional needs.
• Open new personal and business accounts and/or perform maintenance per policy.
• Explain bank procedures and requirements, prioritize work to maximize customer service and handle interruptions.
• Support marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Quote rates, terms and fees on bank products and services and collect account documentation.
