Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist who will be the first point of contact at the branch, delivering a white-glove customer experience while guiding clients toward financial solutions.

You will consult on goals, cross-sell bank products, open accounts, resolve questions, and support marketing campaigns. This on-site role requires professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to travel between branch locations. Saturday hours apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years teller experience and 4+ years New Accounts/Sales Experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Consult with clients about financial goals and promote F&M products and services.
• Actively cross-sell bank products by leveraging branch opportunities and referrals.
• Address and resolve customer concerns in person and via telephone.
• Open new personal and business accounts and perform maintenance per policy.
• Explain procedures, prioritize work to maximize customer service, and solve problems.
• Support marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Quote rates, terms and fees on bank products and services.
• Collect and review all account documentation and ensure proper completion.
• Travel to various bank locations as needed; Saturday hours required.
