Job summary

Sunwise Automotive Group, serving Marin Subaru, seeks an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team. You will manage service orders, ensure courteous, prompt service, and provide concierge support for owner inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee warranty claims, distribute work among technicians, answer technical questions, and communicate repair timelines. A strong customer-focus and 2–3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in service advisory or similar role.
• Highline dealership preferred.
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations.
• Fantastic communication skills.
• Consistent record of service and sales success.
• Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.
• Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task.
• Team oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships and loyalty with customers to encourage repeat and referral business allowing for long-term clientele.
• Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service department.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Effectively communicate to the customer the timeline of repair and maintenance.
• Follow-up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick-up time.
• Resolve customer complaints and questions.
