Job summary

CompSource Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Premium Auditor to conduct field audits of policyholders’ payroll and financial records for workers’ compensation coverage. You’ll visit policyholders at their primary place of business or other agreed locations and work independently across your territory, staying aligned with guidelines and regulations.

You’ll gather documentation, interview stakeholders, and communicate audit findings efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ auditing, payroll, accounting or business experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to stay steady as territories/workloads change.
• Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter or insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) for documents and analysis.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and use of personal vehicle; travel reimbursed.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

• Manage the assigned field territory, including scheduling and conducting onsite visits and reviewing payroll and financial records.
• Communicate with policyholders and agents about scheduling, interviews, audit findings, and results.

Predominantly field role with 75% of time spent in policyholder meetings and at places of business. You’ll visit policyholders at their primary place of business or another agreed-upon location and work independently across your assigned territory. Following company guidelines and industry regulations, you’ll help ensure premiums are accurate. When you’re not in the field, you’ll work remotely from home and manage your own schedule. Travel (mileage, tolls, etc.) for work will be reimbursed.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
