Job summary

biBERK, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks enthusiastic premium auditors (entry level or experienced) to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves reviewing payroll, tax, and accounting records to set appropriate premiums and conducting interviews to gather business operation details.

You will input audit findings, adjust premiums, and provide superior customer service to policyholders throughout the audit process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or related field.
• Excellent Excel skills and aptitude to learn other software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine the appropriate premium base for multiple lines including Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability.
• Obtain descriptions of business operations, employee job duties, and other relevant information over the phone and via email.
• Determine proper insurance classification codes and suggest changes when appropriate.
• Adjust premiums based on state manual rules and credits.
• Complete audit worksheets using an Excel template and input findings into our database.
• Provide superior customer service to policyholders and resolve disputes regarding audit results.
