What does a Premium Auditor do?

Our field auditors meet with clients onsite, virtually, or via phone, usually at the end of the policy period, to review business operations, financial records such as payroll and sales, and verify industry-specific class codes as required by insurance contracts.

• Schedule appointments with clients to conduct audits and gather information
• Submit reports via web-portal and our exclusive software
• Communicate with clients through phone, email, and face-to-face
• Examine payroll and tax records of commercial businesses
• Evaluate operational practices
• Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity

Qualifications:

• Must reside in the specified geographic area
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience is helpful but not required
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Numbers-oriented with analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to use deductive reasoning to find solutions
• Premium audit experience is not required; we provide comprehensive training
