NEIS, LLC has been a leader in the insurance audit and loss prevention industry since 1945. We are seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team. The primary responsibilities include examining the financial records of insured businesses to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, looking for evidence of fraud, and verifying adherence to regulations. This position is remote, with required daily travel to audit locations within your assigned territory, averaging 2-4 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by auditing policyholder’s records and applying manual rules and company standards.
• Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
• Create schedules to maximize efficient use of time.
• Communicate with insureds via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records, gather data, and determine correct classifications and operational descriptions.
• Prepare audit documentation, explain results to insureds, and communicate findings to the home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years of premium auditing experience; entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial documents.
• Proficiency with PC, Microsoft Excel, and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Health benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental insurance.
• Weekly pay with a stipend of up to $750 during training, plus mileage and production bonuses. Post-training, pay shifts to a production-based model ($44-$46 per billable hour).
• 401(k) plan with company matching.
