Our Financial Division is hiring for a Premium Audit Specialist to join their team! This position can be fully remote depending on the candidate. Candidates local to Cincinnati, OH will work on a hybrid schedule.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field or equivalent experience. Experience: Generally, 10 years of experience in Premium Audit, Underwriting, Accounting, or Finance. Insurance accounting experience preferred.Continuing progress toward and/or the completion of a professional designation preferred, such as Associates in Premium Audit Program (APA), Associate in Underwriting (AU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or Associate of Risk Management (ARM). Scope of Job/Qualifications: Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge across various accounting principles and practices. Works on assignments of high technical and logistical complexity. Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Maintains knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that all audits are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and state laws. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and across departments. Serves as a senior resource on the Premium Audit team. Provides technical advice and support to lower-level positions.Business Unit:
