Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Premium Audit Technician to evaluate, approve, complete, and process mail audits, and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers by phone, email, or fax.

You will analyze adjustments (waive, mail, and phone), contact insureds or agents to gather information, and determine correct classifications using PAAS, NCCI, and other tools.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in an office setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 30 credit hours of coursework in Accounting, Business, Insurance, Finance or related field and progress towards or completion of Insurance Institute of America (IIA) or other insurance-related designation(s) such as an APA or CPCU.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, approve, complete and process mail audits.
• Process audit adjustments: waive, mail, and phone audits; notify parties if denied.
• Contact insured/accountant/agent to gather information for correct classifications.
• Research PAAS, NCCI, and other tools to identify audit classifications.
• Communicate concession requests and final decisions to external customers.
• Address policy changes and omissions identified during audits.
• Manage workflow inventory in PAM to meet time-service goals.
• Estimate audits.
• Train and mentor Premium Audit Technician position.
• Compose written correspondence.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Work with minimum supervision.
