Job summary

Athens Services is seeking a security guard to safeguard company facilities and assets. The role emphasizes professional conduct, vigilance, and rapid reporting of any threats. Responsibilities include monitoring entry points, maintaining logs, and coordinating with police or management when needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure premises are safe and secured from contingencies and violence.
• Monitor all entrants and look for intruders.
• Prevent entry of unauthorized persons and restricted articles.
• Maintain a log of visitors with times and purposes.
• Conduct routine checks inside/outside the building daily.
• Report suspicious activity to authorities or management.
• Inspect offices and ensure exits and equipment are secure.
• Respond immediately to alarms and notify proper departments.
