Datadog is seeking a hands-on leader to manage and mentor a team of Premier Support Engineers responsible for responding to client requests, troubleshooting, and maintaining Datadog’s 600+ integrations. You’ll partner with upper management on performance, onboarding, and career development, while driving process improvements and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of engineers or technical professionals.
• Strong people management and mentorship mindset with emphasis on development.
• Client-centric thinking and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Some programming experience and basic knowledge of Linux.
• Active contribution to open-source projects and technical communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, coach and mentor a team of Premier Support Engineers.
• Own accountability for team performance and partner with upper management.
• Ensure successful onboarding and training of new hires.
• Guide training, certificates, and learning needs for the team.
• Build out documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Drive projects to improve productivity and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers on escalations.
