Job summary

Invited is seeking a Greenskeeper to maintain the golf course turf and landscapes, ensuring optimal playability and aesthetics. You will mow, fertilize, irrigate, and help manage landscape areas around the course.

Reporting to the Equipment Manager or Superintendent, you will operate mowers, aerators, sprayers, perform routine maintenance, and assist with new course features. A high school diploma is required; preferred landscape/garden experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred: landscape management, greenhouse operations, or groundskeeping maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Mow greens, fairways, tees, and roughs to maintain height and playability.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to the agronomy plan and safety guidelines.
• Water turf areas and adjust irrigation systems to maintain optimal moisture.
• Monitor turf conditions and address pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Safely operate powered equipment such as mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Keep all equipment clean, well maintained, and stored properly.
• Maintain and enhance landscaping around the clubhouse, including flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
• Prepare soil beds, lay sod, and plant new vegetation as directed.
• Keep all course areas free of debris and in good condition.
• Assist in constructing and maintaining new features like greens, tees, and bunkers.
• Ensure daily tasks meet club standards and quality expectations.
