Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Banquet Server to provide food and beverage service during hotel-hosted events, including weddings, conferences, and corporate meetings. You will ensure guests receive exceptional service while upholding banquet standards and cleanliness.

You will greet guests, set up banquet rooms per BEOs, serve and clear items, maintain service areas, and coordinate with kitchen and banquet teams for smooth event flow. Attention to food safety and guest needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Set up banquet rooms and tables according to banquet event orders (BEOs)
• Serve food and beverages during events in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner
• Clear tables, remove service items, and reset rooms as needed throughout the event
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of buffets, food stations, and bar areas
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and banquet team for smooth service flow
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ensure proper handling of all hotel equipment and report any maintenance issues
• Respond to guest needs and requests promptly and professionally
• Work collaboratively with the Banquet Captain and other servers to execute event plans
