Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and implementation.
• Reinforce learning concepts and provide additional help as needed.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Administer tests and assist with grading and feedback.
• Provide toileting and diapering support while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Observe and report student progress and behavior.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers about progress or concerns.
• Keep classroom clean and organized; ensure materials available.
• Encourage student participation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for a PreK Program Aide for the 2026-2027 school year for our Signal Butte Elementary campus. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

A PreK Aide supports the classroom teacher in delivering quality education to students. A PreK Aide will help with instructional activities, managing classroom behavior, and providing support to students as needed. Additionally, a PreK Aide may assist with administrative tasks and communication with parents, contributing to a collaborative and effective educational setting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and implementation.
• Reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance as needed.
• Help maintain a positive and orderly environment.
• Help administer tests and assessments; support the teacher in grading assignments and providing feedback.
• Provide appropriate toileting and diapering support based on individual child needs while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and licensing standards.
• Observe and report on student progress, behavior, and engagement.
• Support communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Help keep the classroom clean and organized, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available.
• Encourage student participation.
• Other duties as assigned.
