Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Current immunizations and TB test.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Food handler’s card required.

Responsibilities

Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and implementation.
Reinforce learning concepts and provide additional help as needed.
Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
Administer tests and assist with grading and feedback.
Provide toileting and diapering support while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
Observe and report student progress and behavior.
Communicate with parents and caregivers about progress or concerns.
Keep classroom clean and organized; ensure materials available.
Encourage student participation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
