Job summary

American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for a PreK Program Aide for the 2026-2027 school year at our Signal Butte Elementary campus. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

A PreK Aide supports the classroom teacher in delivering quality education to students, assists with instructional activities, manages classroom behavior, and may help with administrative tasks and parent communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• Food handler’s card is required.
• Immunizations and TB test current are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and implementation.
• Reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance as needed.
• Help maintain a positive and orderly environment.
• Help administer tests and assessments; support grading and feedback.
• Provide toileting and diapering support while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and licensing standards.
• Observe and report on student progress, behavior, and engagement.
• Support communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and concerns.
• Keep the classroom clean and organized; ensure materials and supplies are available.
• Encourage student participation.
• Other duties as assigned.
