Job summary

The Learning Lamp, in Huntington Mills, PA, is seeking a Lead Teacher for The Goddard School site. You will lead daily activities, implement developmentally appropriate curricula, and work with a supportive team to nurture young learners.

Hours are rotating 7:00am–6:00pm. Benefits include paid time off, multiple insurances, retirement plans, and disability coverage. Requires ECE degree or equivalent experience and clearances.

Qualifications

• AA in Early Childhood Education or two years of relevant experience with children.
• Willingness to obtain required clearances and training for child safety.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate attendance records for children in care.
• Monitor and manage child counts to ensure state ratios.
• Interact with children at their level and provide supervision during meals.
• Safely position children outdoors and keep them in sight and sound.
• Complete state incident reports when needed and file properly.
• Support each child's physical and emotional needs throughout the day.
• Communicate professionally with school staff, children, and parents.
• Follow Goddard policies and safety procedures and assist with classroom routines.
• Assist with general cleaning and classroom maintenance.

Education

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education

Two years of child care experience
