Job summary

The Learning Lamp’s The Goddard School is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum and lead daily activities for young children. You will be part of a nurturing team that prioritizes student growth and safety in a structured, state-compliant environment.

Hours are rotating from 7:00am to 6:00pm with a pay range of $16.00–$19.00 per hour based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or two years of relevant experience with children, including volunteer work or related roles.
• Ability to pass required clearances and trainings for child safety.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility and daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate attendance records (electronic and paper).
• Monitor child counts to ensure state ratios are met.
• Engage with children at their level and participate in meals.
• Supervise children outdoors and ensure sight and sound supervision.
• Document incidents using approved state reports when needed.
