Job summary

The Learning Lamp is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher for The Goddard School location in North Huntingdon, PA. You will lead daily activities, implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and collaborate with a supportive team in a nurturing environment.

Hours are rotating from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, retirement plans, and life/disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or two years of relevant experience with children.
• Willingness to complete required clearances and training to ensure safety and security of children.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and to sit, bend, and move frequently as part of daily care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate electronic and paper attendance records and know the number of children in care at all times.
• Interact closely with children at their level and engage them during meals and activities.
• Ensure children are within state ratio requirements and supervision is maintained at all times.
• Communicate effectively with school personnel, children, and parents.
• Perform minor and major cleaning tasks and adhere to Goddard procedures and policies.

Education

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
