Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or two years of college completed.
• Two years of experience working with children.
• Strong verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Such alternatives as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Report to Site Facilitator.
• Assist teachers, secretaries and clerical personnel when needed.
• Administer, score, and record achievements and diagnostic tests as directed.
• Operate and care for classroom equipment used for instruction.
• Distribute and collect workbooks, papers, and materials for instruction.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
• Check notebooks, correct papers, and supervise tests and makeup work.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Follow safety rules and maintain confidential student information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
